We are happy to announce that, due to great interest, there will indeed be a 4th in the Barton Conference Series. These exclusive conferences bring together people who worked with Sir Derek Barton in his lifetime and wish to celebrate his life and achievements. Registration for this meeting is by invite only.

Taxis

Advise MMS of your flight number and we will arrange for a car to meet you. One taxi transfer each way is included in your package. Additional trips cost about US$60 (1-2 persons) from Hewanorra Airport and US$85 (1-2 persons) from George Charles Airport. Rates subject to change without notice.

ANSE CHASTANET now has a helipad in operation. The helipad is located in the hills behind ANSE CHASTANET where we can operate it without any noise disturbance to our guests. The helicopter transfers are approximately US 135 per person. If you wish to book a helicopter transfer, please let MMS know and we will book this for you.

Language

English is the official language, St. Lucians also speak a French derived Patois.

Dress

Dress is smart casual. Gentlemen usually wear long slacks or long cut bermuda shorts and collared shirts in the evening. We would like to discourage gents from wearing of t- shirts or "short shorts" at dinner time. Light cotton or linen is best. At lunchtime, we ask that our clients please not wear wet bathing suits in our bars and restaurants and that they please wear a suitable cover up.

Children

Anse Chastanet does not accept children under the age of 6 years.

Entry Requirements

Visitors must carry valid passports, except USA and Canadian citizens who possess valid return tickets and I.D. (as ID - for example - a combination of birth certificate and photo id such as drivers licence are accepted - we still recommend you use your passport if you have one), staying for less than 6 months.

Visas are not required where the visitor is a citizen of the USA or a Commonwealth country, or where there is agreement for exemption between the home country and St. Lucia. Russia or former Soviet Union citizens, both Incoming and Outgoing, require Visas.
